When and where can I drop off the artworks?

  • If you would like us to pick up artwork, please email us beforehand. 
  • You may also drop off the artworks at UNLV, but you must contact us of your availability to be able to store the pieces in one of the offices at UNLV which we will email you directions to.

  • The last day for the option of one of the LVBA2018 members to pick up any artwork is March 24, 2018. After that, it will be your responsibility to contact us and submit the artworks at UNLV.

  • We will still be accepting artworks until the day before the event March 31, 2018, so there is still time for you to showcase your incredible talent!

What do you mean by "Artwork needs to be framed?"

  • Artworks should be turned in with a frame or at least glued to a sturdy board (mat-board or foam board).

  • Artwork on canvas does not need to be framed.

Which grade level students may submit artwork?

  • Students from grades K-12 may submit artwork, including adults from our community.

 Is there a charge to get into the show?

  • There is no charge for the show at all, it is free for all members of the community enjoy.

I see it's a fundraiser, is the participant's art for auction?  

  • The fundraiser is for FEEF (Family Education and Empowerment Foundation) which is an non-profit organization. We will have raffles that attendees can purchase to win prizes, and all the proceeds from the raffle ticket sales will go to FEEF.​

The students work is just on display not being sold right?  

  • There is no art auction and the students work will only be for display, not sold.​

 How long will the students art be on display for in case they cannot make it that night, and when should I pick it up? 

  • You will receive the artworks back the same day of the event after it ends at 5pm on April 7, 2018 to be able to pick up. If you cannot make it that day we can store the artwork a few days after (3-4 days) and the location and time for that is TBA, but we will let you know as soon as our event coordinator gives us a location for that​.

Should I e-mail names to you for the tags for the participants? 

  • Yes, please email us the names for the name tags, or you can let our professor know once you store the artwork in her office at UNLV. She has a running list of participants along with the participating schools' names and the number of pieces they are displaying. 

  • On the artworks itself we need to have the student's name and school they are from.

Where will the event be held?

  • The event will be held at the Stan Fulton building on UNLV's campus from 1pm-5pm.
